مصمّمة تونسية تفتح للموضة بابًا جديدًا ليست كل قصص النجاح متشابهة. بعضُها يُبنى بهدوء، بعيدًا عن الأضواء، ويكبر خطوة بخطوة. آمنة حسين واحدة من تلك القصص. مصمّمة تونسية تعيش و تعمل اليوم بين تونس، إيطاليا، و القاهرة، اختارت أن تصنع طريقها الخاص في عالم الموضة، بلغة جديدة تجمع بين التصميم و التكنولوجيا.من القاهرة، تطوّر آمنة مشروعها في مجال الموضة الرقمية، حيث تستخدم الطباعة ثلاثية الأبعاد لتصميم إكسسوارات وقطع تحمل شكلًا مختلفًا عمّا اعتدناه. هذا العمل لفت الانتباه في المنطقة، وتُوّج بحصولها على جائزة Cairo Design Award 2025 عن مجموعتها Act I – “The Rebel Bride”.

Elles sont nombreuses à créer, à chercher, à tenter. Peu sont celles dont le travail finit par être reconnu au-delà des frontières. Emna Hussein fait partie de ces Tunisiennes qui construisent leur parcours ailleurs, sans jamais rompre le fil avec leurs origines.Entre la Tunisie, l’Italie et aujourd’hui Le Caire, la designer tuniso-italienne s’impose comme l’une des nouvelles voix de la fashion-tech dans la région MENA. En faisant de l’impression 3D un véritable langage de couture sculptural, narratif et éco-conscient , elle signe une vision singulière, récemment saluée au Cairo Design Award 2025 pour sa collection Act I – “The Rebel Bride”.

Emna Hussein blends North African heritage with digital futurism, creating sculptural designs that feel like stories worn on the body. Her work is rooted in cultural memory, drawing inspiration from traditional textiles like the Tunisian haïk and translating that history into modern 3D-printed forms.

When Emna Hussein learned about the Elegoo With Her program on social media, she was ecstatic. The Tunisia-born, Egypt-based fashion designer has years of experience working on marketing and communications teams for fashion powerhouses like Chanel and Mugler as well as for a Tunisian radio station and an international English learning language academy.

We’re excited to introduce three talented creators from the ELEGOO WITH HER program: Ekaterina Davydenko, EMNA HUSSEIN, and Kinnera Putti, each presenting a striking, culture-inspired piece.From a heartfelt tribute to 20th-century Russian design (the lamp), to the rich symbolism and language of Tunisian heritage (the dress), to the swirling elegance of traditional Indian lehengas — these works reimagine tradition using modern tools.

Among them were two standout designers: Emna Hussein, from Tunisia and Italy, and Neyla Coronel Vega, from Colombia. Each approached the program with a different goal. Hussein sought to reinterpret heritage through couture, while Coronel Vega used design to explore self-acceptance and body confidence. Their projects couldn’t have been more different: one became a futuristic fashion capsule inspired by Tunisian tradition, the other a 3D printed bra designed to fit body and soul.
