We don’t just design differently. We produce differently.
A Slow Fashion Manifesto
Every Emna Hussein piece is made-to-order.
This means:
- Zero stock, zero overproduction
- Materials are sourced based on confirmed demand
- No trend chasing — only intentional creation
Sustainable & Cultural Materials
We use a mix of bio-sourced, recycled, and heritage-inspired materials:
- PLA (polylactic acid) — plant-derived, biodegradable
- TPU — flexible, recycled, skin-safe
- Cultural textiles — sourced from across the Maghreb and wider Arab-Berber world, including woven pieces that may contain metallic fibres, gold or silver threads, or noble synthetics tied to traditional wear
Each fabric is selected for its meaning, story, and structure — not its origin alone.
We work with:
• Hayek, Safseri, and ceremonial textiles
• Harem-style brocades with golden thread
• Emerging discoveries from Morocco, Algeria, Libya, and beyond
Local Production, Global Influence
- 3D printing and textile fusion happen in Tunisia or Egypt
- Every piece is crafted in-house or with carefully chosen artisan collaborators
- No outsourcing to mass-industry chains — ever
Energy Use & Responsible Craft
- Low-energy FDM 3D printing
- Zero toxic post-processing
- Waste materials from filament are reused in prototypes or test pieces
Packaging with Purpose
- Recyclable or reusable wrapping
- Reclaimed cotton or deadstock pouches
- No single-use plastic
- FSC-certified or biodegradable paper wherever possible
Human-First Ethics
- Fair compensation for all partners and artisans
- No exploitation, no unpaid work
- Slower timelines that respect both craft and people
Ongoing Transparency
Each drop or capsule comes with:
- A material breakdown
- A cultural origin note (when applicable)
- A sustainability indicator
We don’t claim perfection — we practice progress.
Thank you for choosing sculptural fashion with a conscience.
